Abstract:Two requirements of calibration are discussed in detail. To the calibration of both instrument and equipment in some asperity environment, the theory and technology development direction by using big data is put forward. Through linear or non-linear system model, many individual environment vectors are combined into one complex environment, and the calibration in multi-factor environment will be solved. To the calibration of the digital instrument, the theory and technology direction of data domain calibration is put forward, by using all of the statistic theory, the information theory and the system theory, in frequency domain, value domain, logic domain and transformation domain, and the model parameters will be the calibration results of the data domain instrumentation.

Abstract:This paper focuses on some problems about sapphire fiber grating, such as sapphire fiber manufacture, cladding material of sapphire fiber selection and manufacture, achieving single mode transmission in sapphire fiber and so on. After researching several related papers, LHPG and EDFG, cladding manufacture methods, making sapphire fiber grating and solutions for single mode transmission of sapphire fiber are introduced.

Abstract:Atom interferometer gravimeter has realized state-of-the-art measurement of ‘g’, thus promising it with broad prospects in frontier scientific research and precision metrology. However, its resolution is limited by different sources of noises, such as Raman phase noise. This paper investigates the Raman phase noise model and its transfer process to the phase of atomic interferometer. We find that signal generator contributes the major part of the Raman phase noise. By calculating the contributions of Raman phase noise to the interferometric phase fluctuation under normal conditions of T & τ, we find that the measurement resolution raises as T increases in the range from 100 ms to 300 ms. For instance, we calculate a contribution of 19.6 mrad/shot to the interferometric phase fluctuation under the condition of T=300 ms & τ=20 μs, corresponding to an influence of 1.35 μGal (1μGal=10-8 m/s2) on the resolution of atomic gravimeter in a single measurement circle.

Abstract:The on-site calibration of antennas is getting much more attention now because it can greatly impact the performance of the phased array radar. This paper introduces the current situation of on-site calibration of antennas and puts forward some existent problems. It focuses on analysing the advantages of optical-electromagnetic field detect technique and proving on-site calibration of phased array radar antennas based on optical technology is entirely feasible, by building the on-site calibration device and doing some experiments. This technology can calibrate parameters of phased array radar antennas accurately and have less impact on radiation field of antennas. It can meet the requirements of the on-site calibration of phased array radar antennas.

Abstract:In this paper, the flow field in the contraction section of precision water flume was numerically simulated by solving RANS equations. Three different contraction curves were selected for two different contraction sections with different outlet sizes and different contraction ratios. The three contraction curves were judged by three criteria: the flow was separated or not; the adverse pressure gradient changed moderately or not; the flow velocity distribution uniformity. The research shows that the bicubic contraction curve is the best for the contraction section with the outlet size of 250 mm×20 mm; for the contraction section with the export size of 250 mm×10 mm, the Витощинский’s contraction curve is the best. This work can be used as reference for designing the contraction section with optimization.

Abstract:A multi-parameter technical system based on laser probing technique is proposed. Taking the present screw thread parameter handbook as standards, a database of standard screw thread is built,and the software for screw threads detection is developed.

Abstract:In order to solve the problems of the influence of human factors and inaccurate quantification present in the traditional straight edge verification, this paper puts forward a method for measuring the straight edge straightness, which can improve reliability and precision of the verification results for the straight edge by the developed automatic measuring device.

Abstract:Goldmann applanation tonometer (GAT) is internationally served as a standard on clinical diagnosis of intraocular pressure, which belongs to the domestic mandatory measuring instrument. However the GAT in China has not been mandatory tested result due to the lack of the relevant measuring capability. In present paper, a verification device of GAT measuring force has been researched and designed, using a “L” shape balance bracket and an analytical balance as a standard of judgment for balance position. The results show that such verification device is in a state of the art in China, thanks to tiny discrimination threshold and uncertainty of measurement, good repeatability and stability, where the metrological traceability is in accordance with the international standard.

Abstract:Aiming to the verification requirement of thermotechnical instrument in oil field, we designed a thermotechnical metrological verification vehicle that we can use in the field. The vehicle is composed of power supply system, air condition system, safety protection system, vehicle experimentation area, data processing system, temperature verification system and pressure testing system. It not only provides a variety of experimental environment and calibration equipment, but also realizes the automation of field metrological and calibration process. It improves the work efficiency , and meets the needs of field metrological and calibration.

Abstract:Scanning Electron Microscopy is an important tool in measurement of nanometer dimensions. The existing verification regulations of Scanning Electron Microscopy are commented in this paper and current situation of standards and feasibility in calibration are analyzed. Based on the authors’ domestic work, the actual calibration method of Scanning Electron Microscopy in magnification times error, repeatability and image linear distortion in X and Y directions are discussed. Proposals are offered in revision of metrology technical specifications of Scanning Electron Microscopy.

Abstract:Since the conventional angle-error detection device is complex, hard-using and inadaptable, a detection system for the angle errors of turntables is designed by using the autocollimation theodolite. Firstly, the three-dimensional reflection model is studied, and the exact expression of the model is derived in detail. Then, based on this, a similar formula is given under certain conditions of engineering. Finally, the evaluation of uncertainty is given through the experiment. The expanded uncertainty is 8.9" which verifies the effectiveness of the detection system.

Abstract:Based on the needs of verifying pressure gauges, analysis and discussion are made on the method of nonlinearity verification of 300 scale division precise pressure gauges according with JJG49-2013 Verification Regulation of the Bourdon Tube Precise Pressure Gauge and Vacuum Vague. A new method of nonlinearity verification and evaluation of 300 scale division precise pressure gauges is put forward.

Abstract:Civil-military integration of metrological support is important to metrological support of armament in future. On the basis of the analysis and discussion on the background and the requirement of civil–military integration in metrological support of armament, the basal resource and feasibility of building the metrological support system of civil–military integration for armament at the present stage were elaborated. The considerations and the suggestions of its deep development in the aspect of establishing the mechanism, strengthening the integration in metrological technical regulations, resource, scientific research,personnel training, etc. were proposed.
