Abstract:The design of a wireless monitoring system composed of embedded monitoring terminals,users' cell phones and a remote computer as the monitoring center is introduced.The method of application of a wireless module in embedded systems is emphatically discussed.The method of monitoring equipments in the field by using the wireless module to transmit and receive short messages is introduced;the process of establishing a link between the wireless module in the GPRS network and the fixed IP computer in the Internet and communicating each other are analyzed.The result shows that,in the area where the GSM/GPRS network is available,the system can accomplish the data acquisition on line,wireless remote data transmit and monitoring for the equipments in the field.The solution of embedded wireless remote monitoring has a prominent advantage when constructing monitoring systems in the open air,field place,mobile operation condition or wherever the network cables can not reach.

Abstract:The distortion of the measured signal can be presented by the total harmonic distortion. The equation calculating the total harmonic distortion and the result do not coincide with the signal distortion. The measured result is small although the distortion is evident in practice. The INV time- frequency method proposed in this paper can counteract the weakness of the frequency method. A practical example is presented in this paper.

Abstract:In order to calibrate the airborne torque measurement system without disassembling and assembling it, a new method is proposed to combine the hardware and software into a standard verifying unit, which calibrate the airborne equipment with the interface unit, without tearing down the airborne equipment, the proposed method could accomplish the calibration of the airborne pressure sensor and the calibration of airborne measurement system individually and dynamically. Calibration results explain the results of calibration in field are satisfactory and the accuracy of calibration system is 0.3%.

Abstract:This paper gives the design process of 18 bits high-precise data acquisition system by an instance and discusses problems and practical solutions of the design. In this instance, the CPU is based on MCS-51 and the A/D chip adopts delta-sigma A/D module. It has many characteristics such as simple structure, low-cost, steady, good interface. The experiment results show that the precision of the data acquisition system reaches 18bit at 50Hz conversion ratio.

Abstract:A solution scheme that can inextenso verify electro-optical distance mster and the EDM system of electronic total stations inside a laboratory by establishing fictitious outdoor length standards with two plane mirrors in which the ray will be reflected repeatedly has been proposed in this paper. The difficulties that the scheme will have to solve, have been discussed and the feasibility has been demonstrated with existing technology and experience. Detailedly the extend uncertainty about measurement result of 1000 m by this method has been analysed and accurately calulated, and has got the conclusion that the scheme is feasible entirely.

Abstract:Based on the three-antenna method, the three-cable method has been devised to be applied to correcting for variations in cable transfer characteristic due to motion, flexure or aging. The method is to measure the cable in transmission and to infer the characteristic of the cable from a set of three pairwise measurements and get the correction factor to correct the measured data. By measuring in transmission, rather than in reflection, it overcomes the limitation imposed by cable loss on the use of the switched reflectometer.

Abstract:In this paper,the uncertainty of evaluation results of pulse width of pulse generator is described.The main error sources of pulse width measurement,including counter's repeatability,trigger level timing error,time base error,the amplifier hysteresis error,LSD displayed error,etc.are analyzed.According to these effect factors,the combined standard uncertainty and expanded uncertainty of pulse width measurement are evaluated.
