Abstract:Eliminating the effect of shell vibration is the key technique for a Coriolis-type massflowmeter with a single straight measuring tube. A compensating tube stimulate independently, contro1led under given condition, will balance the force produced by the measuring tube. The shellvibration will be reduced. The design demand and the stimulate control conditions of the compensatingtube are discussed. The results are verified by experiment.
