The structure of the CTJ07 type optical theodolite test bench by its own reason cannot satisfy the requirement of JJG949-2011"theodolite verification device verification regulation”,therefore,? facing scrapping. In this paper,the retrofit scheme is analyzed,and the improvement method is detailed. The modified CTJ07 type optical theodolite now can satisfy the user’s requirement.
