Fiber\|optic cable sensor is a kind of new sensor technology developed in recent years.The structural principles and the applications in different fields of two different types of new fiber\|optic cable sensor are presented in this paper.The vast application prospect of the fiber\|optic cable sensor in measuring field is introduced also.
