The digital tachometer circuit, its principle is different from the pulse counter-type instrument, is described in this paper. In the circuit, input pulse is converted into DC voltage proportional to the input pulse by FVC. The test result is displayed by DVM. In the paper, the principle of FVC is discussed in detail, the over-all unit circuit is analized and the test result is given at last.
