The interpretation of the battle underground tunnel (BUT) and transportation underground tunnel (TUT) on the aviation photograph for field operation fortification is an important content. The examination of the image of BUT & TUT is the technical foundation of this interpretation. The reference point on the aviation photograph is put forward and the auto examination method of BUT & TUT based on the shadow reference point is also given in this paper.
