This paper introduces the character of the gas sensors. Based on the gas sensitive materials used in the gas sensors and the different interaction mechanisms between the gas sensitive materials and the gases,the sensors are classified. The present processing technology of the gas sensors is studied. The developing trend of the gas sensors is introduced emphatically.
