Measuring velocity by correlation method has developing for years. Because of the large correlation calculations, calculating velocity is limited and real time feature and accuracy are not good for large velcity system (more than ten ~tens m/s). This paper introduces correlation calculating method with the hardware, and the constuction of hardware correlation instrument and 8098 interface block diagram are given.
