    Abstract:

The research work conducted abroad in dynamic coordinate measurement with lasertracing technique during the past ten years are described in this paper. Several kinds of advancedtechnique are integrated in measuring system. Though its usages have almost been limited in thecalibration of robots, it has opened up the bright prospect for more wide industrial applications. It canbe asserted that this represents the new developing trends of metrology. Several measurementmethods, including the spherical approach, the triangulation method and the multi-lateration methodare described. We also illustrate the principles and structures of the signal - station system and themulti - station system (including tow -station, three - station and four - station system ). Finally, precision and accuracy the systems have already got or possibly get, and advantages as well asdisadvantages are analyzed.
